M7-USB USB Interface Option for M7 Series WIreless Modems

The M7-USB option replaces the standard DB9 RS232 serial connector with a USB 2.0 MINI-B connector and internal a USB-Serial bridge. All features and functions of the M7 remain available via the USB connection.

Features of Raveon's USB Option for M7 Series Wireless Modem

• MINIM-B connector
• USB connector provides the interface for connection to a USB Host or Hub port.
• An internal FTDI FT232R provides the USB-to-Serial conversion.
• Operating system device drivers are required in order to operate with the FT232R to provide the Virtual COM Port serial functionality.
• Works with USB 1.1 & 2.0 Host and Hub ports
• Microsoft Windows® WHQL-certified, Mac OS X, Linux and Windows CE device drivers
• Installs as a standard Windows COM port
• Supports Windows Server 2008, 2003, Vista, XP 2000, Linux, Mac OS X
• RS-232 data signals: TxD, RxD, RTS, CTS, DSR, DTR, DCD, GND
• Flow control: RTS/CTS , DSR/DTR, X-ON/X-OFF, None
